WE DID – WE ARE – WE WILL

Julia Maynard did a wonderful job as Bulletin Editor.
I have the privilege of writing the last Bulletin of 2022, it will be just a one page and sorry no recipes

Welcome to our November monthly meeting
October’s Meeting: Meeting raffle winners: Deanna Brough, Carol Lucka and Barbara Swain. The members draw was won by Richard Padden congratulations to all.
Olive Swain informed the club a bucket will be at the next meeting and future meetings for the bottlecaps, spectacles and ring pulls for charity.

Our speaker was Hannah Beer who unfortunately had just had an operation on her arm and could not play her violin. She talked and showed video clips of her playing at the Riverton beach and Gore during the Country show at Queen’s Birthday weekend.
The bus trip to Gore was a success the weather was good as was the food at the RSA. Thank-you to all who provided donations for the Christmas hampers drawn at The Cabbage Tree November 23rd.

This month has a horse and racing flavour with the start of the summer racing to the fore this month. Speakers, well I know one will be Peter Swain he will entertain us, there will be others. We will also be having something to eat with our morning tea – just to keep you going until lunchtime.

November 23rd: Christmas Lunch at the Cabbage Tree – please pay today by cash or online before the day.
Please be seated by 12.30pm. Don’t be toooo early.

Diary Notes: February 14th, 2023, the first monthly meeting.
